# Introduction

If your application has a concept of Games or Game Sessions, the LyokoPluginLoader provides two events to let the plugins know of the state of the current Session.

Learn more about Events: [EventSummary](broken://pages/-LzNL9HsUfnqvKRiTIV_)

## GameStartEvent

This event is to signify that a game-session has started.

You can call the event with:

```csharp
GameStartEvent.Call(bool story = false);
```

The boolean `story` signifies whether or not the game-session is a 'story-mode'. What this means is largely application-dependant. \
It's false unless stated otherwise.

## See [LyokoPlugin](/lyokoapi/v2/lyokoplugin/introduction.md) for more info.

The event is mostly used by the PluginLoader, but if you want to use it in your own Application, you can.

```csharp
GameStartEvent.Subscribe(void Method(bool story))
```

## GameEndEvent

This event is to signify that a game-session has ended. \
You can call it with:

```csharp
GameEndEvent.Call(bool failed)
```

The boolean `failed` signifies whether or not the user lost the game.

## See [LyokoPlugin](/lyokoapi/v2/lyokoplugin/introduction.md) for more info.

The event is mostly used by the PluginLoader, but if you want to use it in your own Application, you can.

```csharp
GameStartEvent.Subscribe(void Method(bool failed))
```

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://lyokoapi.gitbook.io/lyokoapi/v2/pluginloader/events.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
